As reported by iDiski Times, Royal AM’s CEO, Sinky Mnisi, raised red flags around the deal, saying that there was more to the story than originally revealed.

The matter was refuted by Solomons' agent who explained that they never had an agreement with Royal AM over the player’s services.

News later broke that Swallows were reported to have agreed on a deal with the Thwili Thwala for three players, but then later sold Solomons to the Amakhosi before Shauwn Mkhize’s side could pay up.

Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has finally spoken out about the deal and what really went down, SABC Sport reported.

“Royal AM made contact before anyone else. They were interested in three players; Gamildien, Ndlovu and Solomons. There was a club-to-club agreement that they could speak to the players after the season has ended,” he explained

Moogashoa added that while Gamildien was ok with going to Durban, Solomons refused and wanted to join Kaizer Chiefs.

“You cannot stand in the players’ ways and say go to Royal AM. I may want him to go there but I can’t force him,” the chairman pointed out.

He further noted that Solomons never ever signed a contract with MaMkhize’s team and the matter was merely a club-to-club agreement.

Mogashoa confirmed that there was money involved between Swallows and Royal AM and that they would sit down to resolve the issues.

“If there are any refunds, they will be processed and the matter will be closed,” he concluded.
