Zlatan’s future in football
Ibrahimovic is currently contracted at AC Milan, although his deal is set to run out at the end of the current campaign.
Despite his advanced age, the former Juventus, PSG and Manchester United forward is determined to keep his career going, as revealed by AC Milan’s technical director Paolo Maldini last week.
“Zlatan knows what he wants, he doesn't fake anything, he knows what the possible agreement with Milan could be,” Maldini told DAZN (via The Athletic).
“If he doesn't feel like continuing he'll be the first to say so,”
Despite the intense workouts, Ibrahimovic has struggled with injuries that have kept him away from football action for some time this season.
However, in terms of goal returns, he has proven that he is still a top marksman with his seven goals in 15 Serie A appearances this season.
Milan are currently embroiled in an intense Serie A title race, and they currently sit top of the pile, a solitary point ahead of their city rivals Inter Milan and two ahead of Napoli in third place.
