FootballMaritzburg United Chairperson Farook Kadodia doesn't think that Maritzburg United should sell the star striker during the upcoming transfer window. According to the Daily Sun Kadodia said he was aware of rumours linking the player to the big three clubs. He added that they needed to keep their striker as they looked to avoid relegation.
“We don’t think now is the right time to sell the player as we are not in a good position,” said Kadodia. “We heard about Sundowns that they after Hlongwane but we need all our best players next year. Maybe at the end of the season, we will sell. But now our fans can be assured that Hlongwane will be with us.”
