Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen has attracted interest from several top clubs across Europe with Manchester United said to be closely monitoring the situation.

The 24-year-old forward has made public his desire to feature in the Premier League and he has been heavily linked with a move to the Old Trafford outfit.

However, Napoli have since slapped a staggering €150 million price tag on the striker, a figure which makes signing him a difficult prospect.

Only a very few clubs could cough up such a huge amount to sign one player. Before that possibility, many are urging the Super Eagles striker not to move to the Theatre of Dreams.

1. The club has small dreams

Gone are the days when Manchester United were synonymous with titles. During the era of Alex Ferguson, one could be certain the Red Devils would win something at the end of each season.

It is already a decade since the Red Devils last won the Premier League and they last won the FA Cup in the 2015/2016 season. The last time they won the UEFA Champions League was the 2007/2008 season.

2. Manchester United are struggling

Although Erik ten Hag has done a lot to improve the side, Man United are still a shadow of their former selves. In fact, the recent 7-0 loss to Liverpool shows a lot is still wrong with the squad.

It was 1-0 at half-time at Anfield, but for United to concede six second-half goals means there is a major problem. They have lost six matches already this season and a possible overhaul could be needed.

3. United has outdated stadium facilities
