De Bruyne put on a man-of-the-match display to help his side win 3-1 after a feisty and closely contested game. The Belgian latched on to a poor backpass from Takehiro Tomiyasu to score the first goal of the proceedings.

Bukayo Saka then equalised from the spot after Anthony Taylor awarded a controversial spot-kick. Ederson was adjudged to have brought down Eddie Nketiah.

Second-half at the Emirates

Guardiola's side upped the ante in the second half with Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland condemning Arsenal to their third defeat of the season. De Bruyne supplied the assist for the latter's goal.

He was then withdrawn for Kalvin Phillips late into the game as Guardiola sought to hold on for the three points. The 31-year-old took the long route back to the technical area where he riled up Arsenal fans.

As he passed one corner, he smiled and winked at a section of the homes fans who responded by throwing bottles at him. Earlier, he had been involved in a tussle with Mikel Arteta after he shoved his former assistant manager. Arteta had tried to delay a quick restart from City's throw-in.

Taking to Instagram after the game, De Bruyne savagely taunted Arsenal fans by asking:

"Beer, anyone?"

He uploaded the images of Arsenal fans throwing bottles at him.

Bukayo Saka embarrasses Ederson

Sports Brief has also reported that Arsenal star Bukayo Saka showed great composure to score from the penalty spot during their game against Manchester City on February 15th.

Manchester City's goalkeeper Ederson was at fault for bringing Eddie Nketiah down in the penalty area. The Brazilian survived calls for him to be sent off. He was already on a yellow card at the time of the incident.

There was another long wait before the Englishman could take his penalty. Ederson tried to get into his head by pointing to him where he needed to place his effort.
