Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed he had multiple offers from Europe but opted to make the bold move to the gulf region.
Earlier reports surrounding the future of Ronaldo suggested the Portuguese superstar lacked suitors from Europe owing to his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
However, in his press briefing prior to his unveiling as a new player of Al Nassr, Ronaldo disclosed he was actually spoilt for choice but made the odd yet brave choice to swap Europe for Asia.
"I'm here at Al-Nassr not only because of football. I came to change the mindset of the new generations," Ronaldo said as quoted by EuroFoot.

"I had other proposals from Europe, Portugal and also from Brazil."
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who inked a mammoth £175 million per year deal with the Saudi side, received a rapturous welcome from Al Nassr fans, per Daily Mail.
He could make his competitive debut for the Knights of Najd when they host Al Taee on Thursday, January 5 at Mrsool Park.
