  • Reports from Saudi Arabia suggest the ex-United star will earn himself mega millions

Cristiano Ronaldo will officially be presented as a player of Al Nassr on Tuesday, January 3 at Mrsool Park in Riyadh.

Ronaldo completed a two-year deal with the Saudi Professional League side just before the turn of the year, bringing an end to speculations surrounding his future.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner had been a free agent since the premature termination of his contract with Manchester United in November 2022.

When will Ronaldo be unveiled?

Saudi news outlet Arriyadiyah reports Ronaldo will arrive in Riyadh, the nation’s capital, on Monday evening at around 11:00 local time - with a private jet being taken from Madrid.

According to a post by Al Nassr on Twitter, the star will be unveiled on Tuesday at the club's home venue, Mrsool Park, in a ceremony which begins at 16:00 hours GMT.

African stars to outshine Ronaldo

African football supporters are now of the view that Portugal international Ronaldo will still struggle to earn active playing time in the Saudi Arabian League.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has made a mega million move to Al Nassr and is now the highest-paid player ever in the history of football.

Ronaldo made the move to Saudi following his exit from Manchester United, where he had issues with those in charge of the Premier League giants.

Why European clubs rejected CR7

Sports Brief earlier reported that former Manchester United defender Wes Brown explained why Ronaldo failed to get European suitors, after his acrimonious Old Trafford exit.

The Portuguese star's fairy tale return to Man United ended bitterly, as the Red Devils came to the decision to part ways with the superstar before his contract expired at the end of the season.

The English club chose to end their dealings with Ronaldo on the back of his explosive interview with controversial media personality Piers Morgan.
