Cristiano Ronaldo has been in the news this week, after dropping explosive comments in a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo touched on wide-ranging issues, especially concerning Manchester United, with his comments eliciting global reactions.
Apart from attacking Head Coach Erik ten Hag, Ronaldo also went after the young crop of players, calling them out for lack of attitude and concern about their careers.
The striker mentioned that he players have refused to heed to his advice and warned they wouldn't have long careers if they keep the same attitude up, Sky Sports reported.

He did not mention specific players, but Jose Mourinho made similar comments in 2018 when he questioned players' attitudes when he was Manchester United boss.
Mourinho was always on a constant warpath with specific players at the club, and is famously remembered for his comments on Luke Shaw's brain.
At one point, the current AS Roma boss said:
"I have to adapt to what young players are now. Lampard, at the age of 23, was a man. The boys who are 23 now aren't men, they're brats."
Many have now drawn comparison between the Special One and CR7 in their criticism of the upcoming generations in football.
