Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has reportedly identified Napoli forward Victor Osimhen as the perfect replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo has entered into the final months of his two-year contract with the Red Devils, penned after his reunion with the club during the summer of 2021.
While United have the option of triggering a one-year extension in his deal, that is unlikely to happen, especially considering the striker's struggles this season.

United now seem to be planning for life without Ronaldo, with reports suggesting Ten Hag has identified Osimhen as the perfect replacement.
According to Metro UK, the Dutchman is determined to sign a new prolific centre forward, with Anthony Martial injury-plagued and Marcus Rashford inconsistent.
The publication claims the club have since drawn up a shortlist of targets, and Osimhen is high on the list.
The Nigerian striker is in hot form for Napoli this term, having already scored nine goals in 13 matches to top Serie A's goal scorer charts.
As such, United's only realistic chance of signing Osimhen would be in the summer and not in January.
