Ben Foster has questioned the motive of Casemiro for joining Manchester United, arguing the Brazilian midfielder is leaving Real Madrid for financial reasons.
Casemiro is on the cusp of signing a four-year deal at Old Trafford, with United set to cough up a fee of £60 million, which will rise after add-ons.
The 30-year-old midfield juggernaut is set to become one of United’s top earners at the club, only coming behind goalkeeper David De Gea and forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to MARCA, the workaholic midfielder will be presented at Old Trafford in the run-up to Man United's league match against Liverpool.

Speaking on talkSPORT Drive, Foster said: “I read a thing in the paper and United’s wage bill, my gosh, have a look at this bad boy.
“I’d take a fraction of what some of these guys are on!
“It’s crazy money and even Casemiro, Casemiro doesn’t want to leave Real Madrid. He doesn’t. Why would you want to leave Real Madrid?
Foster, who was on the books of Manchester United between 2005 and 2010, is not the only ex-player to have questioned Casemiro's motive, with Ferdinand questioning the fee United are paying.
