Jorge Mendes, Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, has reportedly been using a hugely reduced rate from his current wages to tempt clubs into signing the superstar.
Three weeks after Ronaldo made it known that he desired to leave Old Trafford and he is yet to find a new club, with time fast running out on the Portugal star.
Ronaldo reportedly prefers a club that plays in the Champions League, but so far, he has had no luck finding one.
The 37-year-old is yet to rejoin his teammates at Manchester United, who have already played three matches in preseason.

Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea have all ruled out the possibility of signing Cristiano, leaving his options very slim at the moment.
Atletico Madrid became the latest club to be linked with Ronaldo, although it was reported by Sport that the La Liga giants could not afford his hefty wages.
According to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs, however, Mendes is making it abundantly clear to clubs that they will not have to match Ronaldo’s astronomical wage bill.
As part of his bargaining chip, the superagent has told clubs that his client is willing to take a a 30% wage cut, although that would still mean paying him a massive £ 300,000 a week.

Ben Jacobs further reports that Champions League football is not the only incentive motivating Ronaldo to leave Old Trafford.
Ronaldo is also intent on joining a club where he does not feel like the burden of success is place on him, especially with his age an the upcoming World Cup.
At United last season, he was the focal point of the team, emerging top scorer thanks to his 22 goals, some of which proved crucial for his side.

Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported of how Jesse Lingard has finally found a new club barely days after he was released by Manchester United
The Englishman has now landed himself a lucrative deal at Nottingham Forest where he is set to become the club's top earner.
He had initially held talks with West Ham United over a possible move but snubbed them for a move to Nottingham Forest.
