FootballManchester United Initiate Contact With Paulo Dybala As Possible Replacement for Wantaway Cristiano Ronaldo
- Manchester United have seemingly started to prepare for life post-Cristiano Ronaldo by contacting the agents of Paulo Dybala
- The former Juventus star could be signed as a replacement for Ronaldo who has expressed his desire to leave
- United will have to offer Dybala a better deal than all the other suitors given that he is a free agent at the moment
Manchester United have contacted the agent of Paulo Dybala over a possible signing this summer. Dybala is a free agent after failing to renew his contract with Juventus after seven years with the Italian giants.
United view Dybala as a possible replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo. Reports have been rife in the past days that Ronaldo has expressed his desire to quit Old Trafford if the right offer comes in.
It is understood that Ronaldo wants to continue competing at a high level, preferably in the Champions League. Despite his impressive individual goal-scoring form last season, United finished sixth and will compete in the Europa League next season.
Inter Milan were interested in signing Paulo Dybala
Daily Mail reports that Arsenal are also interested in signing Dybala. The 28-year-old was understood to be destined for a move to Inter Milan. Inter have however since signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan and it remains to be seen if they will still pursue Dybala.
