The English Premier League teams are showing their financial muscle this summer after outspending other major leagues just weeks into the current transfer window.
Top players such as Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez have made significant moves into the EPL, whereas others such as Gabriel Jesus have switched teams between Premier League teams.
According to a report via Marca, the Premier League is the highest spenders, already having spent at least €448million of the €1.208billion paid for players this summer.

The Serie A clubs have so far spent €284.388m followed by Bundesliga teams with €218.68m, LaLiga Santander clubs €141.80m, and Ligue 1 teams €115.15m.
It is widely expected that the English Premier League will spend close to €1billion this summer transfer window as some top teams, including Chelsea are yet to start splashing the cash on new players.

Meanwhile, Manchester United has an agreement in place to land Frenkie de Jong as well as agreeing to a fee to sign Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord, The Express reports.
De Jong will cost the Red Devils an initial £56m with add-ons inflating that fee further as the Dutch midfielder, whose move is still dependent on a successful medical, has been Erik ten Hag's top summer target.
