Bruno Fernandes says having goal statistics is meaningless and of no importance despite reaching double figures for Manchester United this season.
The 27-year-old scored his 10th Premier League goal after he opened the scoring against Brentford as the Red Devils coasted to a comfortable 3-0 win at Old Trafford on Monday night.
According to a report via Goal, Fernandes has now admitted his priority with Manchester United is to win trophies and not score goals.
"It is a long time since I scored.
"Obviously I am happy but those numbers don't count for me. I want to get numbers with trophies and not with goals."
Bruno Fernandes is yet to win any trophy with Manchester United since he joined the English Premier League side from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020.
