Cristiano Ronaldo breaks silence after missing Man United draw with Leicester City
FootballSergio Aguero Savagely Reacts as Lionel Messi's International Teammate Says Cristiano Is the GOAT
- Sergio Aguero left an interesting comment on Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho’s post
- Garnacho, Messi’s international teammate, seemed to approve that Cristiano Ronaldo was the greatest ever player
- But Aguero, who is great friends with Messi, seemed to disagree as he claimed Garnacho was yet to experience playing with Messi
Sergio Aguero could not help himself as he took to social media to troll Alejandro Garnacho after the youngster expressed his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo.
17-year old Garnacho was named in the Manchester United squad to face Norwich City but was an unused substitute as the Red Devils claimed a crucial 3-2 victory.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored all three goals for his side, including a powerful free-kick and his performances typically reignited the age-old debate on social media on who is the greatest player to grace the game of football.
Fans were also quick to spot a touching moment at full time, as Ronaldo appeared to gift his match ball to the young Garnacho.
Garnacho himself took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and Ronaldo, along with the caption:
"Greatest of all times”.
The comment obviously did not sit well with Aguero, a long-term friend of Lionel Messi, who is considered by a large number of fans as the greatest ever player.
And Aguero made his feelings known, reacting to Garnacho’s post by saying, “Because you still didn't play with the best pa @leomessi.”
It is kind to note that Garnacho is Messi’s international teammate at Argentina, despite the fact that he rose through the ranks in Spain’s youth system.
He was called up for the World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Ecuador, although he did not feature in any of those games.
It is highly likely that he will play alongside Messi at some point in the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
