Manchester United pipped Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 in the English Premier League on Tuesday evening thanks to a spectacular strike by Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 37-year-old headed into the game having scored 14 goals in 26 games this season for the Red Devils.
However, the former Real Madrid superstar endured his worst goal duck for more than a decade after playing 587 minutes without hitting the back of the net.
After a boring first half which ended 0-0, Ronaldo took matters into his own hands to unleash an unstoppable strike past goalkeeper Robert Sanchez in the second period of the game.
His goal sparked celebration among his fanbase on Twitter.
