Cristiano Ronaldo has been snubbed by Wayne Rooney as the former England international named Carlos Tevez as the favourite player he enjoyed playing with at Manchester United.
During his active playing days in the Premier League, Wayne Rooney was known as one of the best strikers in England considering his superb performances for Manchester United.
Wayne Rooney played with many stars at Manchester United and was also close with Cristiano Ronaldo as they both won many titles together at Old Trafford.
But according to the report on GOAL and Daily Mail, Wayne Rooney who is now the manager of Derby County explained that he was so pleased with the connection between him and Tevez.
Wayne Rooney's statement about Carlos Tevez
“Tevez. I just loved our connection. The two of us up front, we complimented each other really well.
“Normally if I played with Louis Saha, Ruud van Nistelrooy or Robin van Persie – these strikers were always the No.9 and I’d play as a No.10.
“With Tevez we could rotate, I’d be the No.9, he’d take the No.9 spot and I’d be No.10. When we lost the ball we’d be like two bulls trying to get it back. As a strike partner, he was the one I enjoyed playing with the most.”
