Manchester United seem to have officially unveiled Cristiano Jnr, who now joins his father as a Red Devils at the Old Trafford club.
The 11-year old will wear his father’s iconic number 7 and was spotted holding his shirt during an unveiling alongside another wonder kid.
This comes only months after moving into the Manchester United academy, a move which happened when Cristiano Ronaldo rejoined the Red Devils from Juventus.
The announcement was made rather inadvertently by youngster Gabriel, who was sharing his own news that he had signed for the club officially.
“Delighted to finally have my signing day done even better to have mine with teammates @cristiano JR.” Jjnr10 said in a post that has since garnered over 7000 likes.
Gabriel is sponsored by Nike and has amassed over 25000 followers, while Cristiano Jnr is yet to open his official Instagram account.
Cristiano Jnr is now set to join the Under-12 side, which also features Nemanja Matic’s son.
Previously, Cristiano’s son showcased his potential while playing for Juventus’ youth side.
He made his debut on his ninth birthday where he sensationally bagged four goals and later got on the score sheet seven times in a game against CS Maritimo later on in the season.
Cristiano’s take on his son’s career
At the time, Cristiano spoke candidly about his son’s prospects, expressing hope that he would one day become a world-class football player.
“I hope that Cris, my son, can be like his dad,” CR7 told DAZN.

United are at risk of missing out on a top-four spot and was recently knocked out of the FA Cup, which was their most plausible route to silverware this campaign.
