Former Manchester United winger Nani has joined Italian side Venezia on an 18-month deal.
The 35-year old joins the Serie A outfit after leaving MLS outfit Orlando City SC.
This marked the end of speculation surrounding where the 35-year old would play, after his contract at the MLS club ran out.
Venezia, through their social media and website, confirmed Nani was returning to top flight European football, describing the Portuguese as “one of the best wingers of his generation”.
"He has honors including a European Championship, a Champions League, four Premier League titles, and three Portuguese Cups.” A statement from Venezia said.
Nani signs through 2022-23."
On Instagram, Nani also expressed delight at joining the Serie A club, saying:
"It's great to be part of this impressive project in such a beautiful city.
"It's time to get to work and give 100 per cent for the team and all the fans.
The 35-year old spent three successful seasons at Orlando City SC, scoring 28 goals and registering 23 assists in 77 appearances.
Notably, he was named an MLS all star in 2019 and 2021.
As a player, however, his most memorable stint was with Manchester United, where he spent a success-laden spell between 2007 and 2015.
For United, he featured a total of 230 times, scoring 41 goals and getting a further 73 assists.
He made a permanent switch to Turkish side Fenerbahçe in 2015.
Nani has also had stints with Valencia, Lazio and Sporting CP in his native Portugal.
Venezia are currently struggling in the Serie A, as they sit just one point outside the relegation zone.

In other news, another former Manchester United man, Shinji Kagawa, also saw his career take a unique turn,as the midfielder was recently confirmed as the new signing for Belgian outfit St Turiden Vv after parting ways with Greek outfit PAOK.
The Japan international is perhaps best known for his short stint at Manchester United, and he was one of Sir Alex Ferguson’s last even signings before the legendary manager retired.
