Premier League club Manchester United are now eyeing a potential move for Paris Saint-Germain star Mauro Icardi according to several sources in France.
SPORTbible are reporting that the Anthony Martial could be heading out of the Old Trafford club as he is in desperate search of first time football.
It was gathered that Spanish club Sevilla are closing in on signing the France international, while Edinson Cavani is reported to be among a number of players unhappy with the club.
French outlet L’Equipe are reporting that Icardi is now on the radar of the Premier League club should Martial and Cavani exit this January.
Icardi has been impressive for PSG having scored 38 goals in 82 matches since joining from Italian giants Inter Milan in 2019 on a one-year deal. He then made the deal permanent in 2020.
The Argentina international, 28, has struggled for consistent game time this season but has managed to score five goals in his 20 appearances, Mirror reports.
United have not made contact with PSG over the striker but are said to be preparing an approach, if Martial and Cavani move closer to leaving.

Martial has made just seven league appearances for Manchester United all season with just two starts to his name and the striker has not featured for the Red Devils since the first week of December.
