- Pep Guardiola's men nearly lost the title to Liverpool before they came from two goals down to secure a vital win
- And City's kitsman Brandon Ashton took centre stage with his trademark 'wild' celebrations in the dressing room
The dressing room of Manchester City went absolutely ballistic with celebrations after Guardiola's charges clinched the Premier League title in dramatic circumstances.
After City blew a two-goal advantage in the Champions League semifinals against Real Madrid, Pep and his charges came under scrutiny for failing to show character and thus wanted to prove critics wrong on the final day of Premier League fixtures.
His title defence appeared to be slipping through his hands when Aston Villa shot to a two-nil lead with goals from Matty Cash and ex-Liverpool talisman Coutinho silencing the home crowd.
But in a space of six minutes with 20 minutes left on the clock, the Sky Blues levelled the score and completed the comeback in sensational fashion to win their fourth league title in the last five seasons.
The results, regardless of Liverpool's 3-1 win over Wolves, handed the title to Man City on the final day of Premier League fixtures.
The epic nature of their latest Premier League triumph sparked wild celebrations at the Etihad Stadium which saw elated fans of the club evade the pitch.
But the most interesting aspect of the celebrations took place in the City dressing room when the kitsman decided to be in his birthday suit, bar a black underwear during the celebrations with his players.
