Man United were the biggest losers from match-week 28 in the Premier League as they suffered a 4-1 heavy loss in the hands of high-flying Man City.
United, who were winless in two of their recent fixtures were looking to arrest their worrying run of form during their trip to the Etihad Stadium.
However, City's masterclass saw them depart the blue side of Manchester without a point.
Man City go six points clear
City's thrilling win at home sent them six points clear at the top of the Premier League standings.
Liverpool remain second with 63 points after their 1-0 hard-fought win over West Ham United on Saturday, March 5, at Anfield.
However, the Reds do have a match in hand and could go within just three points behind the Citizens should they win that fixture.
Chelsea complete the top three slots with 53 points - thanks to their 4-0 comfortable win over relegation-battlers, Burnley, at Turf Moor.
Arsenal sneak into the top four
And after weeks of waiting, Arsenal were finally able to get back to the top four once again.
The Gunners sneaked back into the final Champions League qualifying spot after their 3-2 epic victory over Watford.
Arsenal's place in the top four was heavily dependent on the outcome of Man United's clash with Man City.
Having lost at Etihad, the Red Devils effectively dropped to fifth with 47 points, two points ahead of West Ham who dropped points during their Anfield trip.
Relegation battle shaping up
Meanwhile, the three places in the relegation zone remain unchanged, with Burnley, Watford, and Norwich City fighting for survival.
