Peter Shalulile is on another level this season.
The Namibian marksman has notched up 21 goals in the Premier Soccer League, following his hattrick against Golden Arrows for Mamelodi Sundowns.
Shalulile made history during the game, becoming the first player in the Premier Soccer League to have scored back to back hattricks, TimesLIVE reported.
By scoring six goals in just two games, Shalulile has now scored more goals this season than seven DStv Premiership sides.
Shalulile has scored more goals than Baroka FC (14), Swallows (14), Maritzburg United (17), TS Galaxy (18), Chippa United (19), Marumo Gallants (19) and Sekhukhune United (19).
He is also level with AmaZulu, as the Usuthu have only managed 21 goals in the league so far.
As Kaizer Chiefs fan, @ModisaWaDinku, pointed out on Twitter, Shalulile has scored six goals less than the Amakhosi with six games remaining. The tweet summed up the poor state of affairs at the Soweto based team, with fans agreeing that it wasn’t so much a club anymore but rather a business.
