Liverpool’s summer signing, Darwin Nunez was brutally trolled by fans and popular pizza restaurant chain Domino's for an awful display against Brentford on Monday.
The Reds began their year in the worst possible manner as they fell to a 3-1 defeat against The Bees, who are proving to be the upset kings so far this season.
Having signed from Benfica for £85-million in the summer, there was huge expectation for Nunez to take the Premier League by storm.
Cheeky fans went to the lengths of comparing him to Manchester City’s Erling Haaland at the start of the season.

But the Uruguay international’s life in English football has been anything but easy, and his struggles manifested once again against Thomas Frank’s side.
He has scored nine goals in 21 appearances, and while those numbers are not too desperate, the young striker has often been criticised for missing chances.
Against Brentford, he had a brilliant chance to score as he rounded the goalkeeper, but his shot was somehow blocked by Ben Mee.
As fans came together to troll the striker, Pizza giants Domino's also chimed in with banter of their own, per SportBible.
“Sorry if we’ve missed any orders tonight, we’ve just had this guy start.” Dominos posted on Twitter, to the delight of rival fans.

The trolling comes on the back of the Uruguayan's dreadful outing in Liverpool's 3-1 humbling at the hands of Brentford.
