After the former Benfica striker was shown a straight red card, the former Barcelona star sent a warning to Nunez advising him to control his emotions when dealing with defenders from the Premier league.
Suarez, 35, enjoyed a phenomenal three-and-a-half-year spell with Liverpool but fell short in terms of trophies, eventually leaving acrimoniously for Barcelona in 2014, according to the BBC.

Suarez's warning to Nunez
According to ESPN, Suarez told Nunez to strengthen himself and be careful not to overreact on provocation.
"Luis told me that these things will happen in every game in the Premier League, that they'll come and find me, that they're going to bump into me, and that I need to make myself strong and not repeat my screw-up."
The 23-year-old appreciates Suarez's concern for his well-being on and off the pitch. Nunez has scored six goals for Liverpool this season in 13 appearances.
"He said: 'Listen to an idiot like me.' I really appreciate that message and the fondness he has for me."

Nunez misses a sitter
Sports Brief earlier reported on Darwin Nunez inexplicably missing an open goal during the Liverpool Champions League match away at Ajax.
However, he scored a stunning goal later on, but that did not stop fans from ridiculing him on social media.
During Liverpool's clash with Manchester City in the Premier League, Nunez also made a baffling decision. Instead of squaring the ball to an open Mohamed Salah, he shot at goal.
