Mohamed Salah has finally extended his stay with Liverpool, signing a three-year contract after several months of negotiations with the club.
The Egyptian, who joined Liverpool from AS Roma in June 2017, signed a new long-term deal with the Reds which will see him stay at the club until June 2025.
According to English tabloid Daily Mirror, Mo Salah's new deal makes him the highest-paid player in the club's history with wages in excess of £350,000 per week.
Since joining the Anfield club five years ago, Salah has helped Jurgen Klopp's charges win the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League among a long list of trophies.

Despite missing out on the Champions League and Premier League titles to Real Madrid and Manchester City respectively, the Egyptian ended the season as the top scorer in the English top flight.
He also scooped home the FWA Footballer of the Year and the PFA Players’ Player of the Year last season.
"Liverpool FC are delighted to announce Mohamed Salah has signed a new long-term contract with the club," a statement on the club's website read.
"The forward, who was named the FWA Footballer of the Year and the PFA Players’ Player of the Year for 2021-22 after helping Jürgen Klopp’s side to a domestic cup double, has committed his future to the Reds by putting pen to paper on the deal on Friday."

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the owners of Liverpool Football Club, Fenway Sports Group, have been heavily criticised for the way they are handling Mohamed Salah’s contract situation.
Salah has just one more year left on his deal with the Premier League outfit and there is no sign that the Egyptian will extend his contract with the club.
As things stand, the African superstar will become a free agent at the end of the 2022-23 season as the Reds are yet to agree to fresh terms with him, SPORTbible reports.
