Bayern Munich have finally announced the signing of Senegalese forward Sadio Mane and they have also unveiled him on Wednesday afternoon, 22 June, in an awesome ceremony.
Sadio Mane made his intention to leave Liverpool known after their Champions League final defeat against Real Madrid where he failed to score for the Premier League side.
After the Champions League final in Paris, Sadio Mane then traveled to his country for the holidays where he was spotted playing streets football with friends.
According to the confirmation by Bayern Munich, Sadio Mane explained that he has been following the German club for years and he is happy to be joining them.

"I'm very happy to finally be with FC Bayern in Munich. We had a lot of talks and I felt the great interest of this big club from the start.
"So there was no doubt in my mind right from the start: This is the right time for this challenge. I want to achieve a lot with this club, also internationally.
"During my time in Salzburg I followed many FC Bayern games - I like this club very much.''
