Salah, Mane, Ronaldo & Rudiger Make PFA Premier League Team of the Season

• The PFA Premier League Team of the 2021-22 Season has been released with usual suspects Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo all making the list
• Conspicuously missing from the list were Tottenham Hotspur pair Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, who won the Premier League Golden Boot with 23 goals alongside Mo Salah
• The 2021-22 PFA Premier League Team of the Year features six players from Liverpool, with three coming from winners Man City while Chelsea and Man United contribute with one each

Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane earned a spot in the PFA 2021-22 Team of the Season.

Despite missing out on the Premier League title to Manchester City in dramatic circumstances, Liverpool had the highest number of representation in the PFA Team of the Season, with six players.

Alisson Becker got the nod ahead of Man City's shot-stopper and compatriot Ederson Moraes in between the sticks while Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold was chosen in the right-back position also PFA Player of the Year nominee Virgil Van Dijk partners newly-signed Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger.

Man City's multifunctional defender Joao Cancelo completes the back four in the left-back position.

In midfield, Kevin De Bruyne and Bernado Silva from the title-winning side will be partnered by Thiago Alcantara.

There was no spot for joint-Golden Boot winner Heung-min Son and Tottenham Hotspur teammate Harry Kane.

In their positions were African duo Mohamed Salah, who shared the top scorer award with Son, and Sadio Mane complemented by five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
