  • Liverpool are scheduled to battle Real Madrid for the final of the European football showpiece at the Stade de France in Paris on Saturday, May 28
  • Sea Life aquarium animal, Yellow Turtle, has predicted that the Reds will beat the Los Blancos to win this year's Champions League
  • The 30-year-old turtle aspires to become the best student of other visionary animals, such as Paul the octopus, who rose to fame during the 2010 World Cup

Liverpool will cross swords with Real Madrid in the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League final at Stade de France on Saturday evening.

The Reds advanced to the final after beating Spanish side Villarreal 5-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals while the 13-time Champions reached the final following a 6-5 aggregate win against Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp's men will head into the final seeking revenge after losing 3-1 to Real Madrid in Kyiv four seasons ago.

While the buzz around who will be the next champion of Europe gains momentum, predictions from pundits, former players and fans are pouring in.

However, one prediction that is slowly gaining popularity among supporters of both sides is from a least expected source - a Yellow Turtle living from the Sea Life Aquarium in Benalmadena in the Spanish City of Malaga.

According to Marca, the crew that takes special care of the Yellow Turtle prepared two containers with a broccoli leaf in each of them and put them two meters apart.

One of the containers represented Real Madrid and one Liverpool.

When lowered into the pond, the 30-year-old turtle went to the left container, the one that had Liverpool's crest on it.

However, it took a few minutes for Yellow to decide between the containers, which could indicate that it will be a tough battle in the final.

Is Yellow Turtle the new Paul the Octopus?

It appears that the marketing team of the Sea Life Aquarium in Benalmadena are trying to turn Yellow into Paul the Octopus 2.0.

Paul the Octopus was a common octopus used to predict the results of international football matches.

It correctly predicted the outcome of eight matches in the 2010 World Cup and that brought him worldwide attention as an animal oracle.

Paul attracted a lot of attention during the 2010 World Cup when it correctly predicted the outcome of eight matches.

Liverpool Players Use Special Sports Technology Ahead of Real Madrid Showdown

Sports Brief earlier reported that Liverpool have stepped up their preparations for the Champions League final by using brain sensors in their training.

Brain sensors are a form of sports technology that helps athletes get into an optimum mental state to perform at a very high level.

And there’s definitely no grander moment this season for The Reds than when they will face Real Madrid on Saturday. Fullbacks Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kostas Tsimikas were seen wearing the electrodes during a training session on Wednesday.
