Virgil Van Dijk has playfully teased Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry of always ignoring his texts on live television after Liverpool’s exhausting Champions League semi-final victory against Villareal.
The Dutch defender had just finished guiding the Reds to a 3-2 victory against the Yellow Submarines and was on hand to conduct the post-match interview when he accused the Frenchman.
According to a report via Sport Bible, Henry who was on duty as a pundit for the Liverpool game revealed he had changed phones and lost the number of the 30-year-old defender.
"I actually don’t have his number anymore. I’ll go through someone else to get his number.
"I changed my number and when I put all my numbers on my new phone, his number wasn’t there anymore."
Van Dijk has been a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s team and will be making his second Champions League final appearance for the Reds after they edged out Villareal for their 3rd final in 5 years.
