English legend Michael Owen is proud of his daughter after she released her new beach wear brand over the weekend.

The former Liverpool and Real Madrid player took to social media to support his daughter's business, urging fans to visit her Instagram handle for more.

Gemma Rose Owen is the first daughter of Michael Owen and Louise Bonsall, and she is into fashion and beach wears.

Michael Owen shares a lovely bond with his daughter and used to bring her to the stadium for matches during his time with Newcastle United.

The ex-England and Liverpool star is the last English player to win the Ballon D'or after scooping the award in 2001.

Michael Owen's football career

Michael Owen's career blossomed during his teen years and became one of the youngest player to win the Ballon D'or in 2001.

He started his career in Merseyside with Liverpool, where he played for his hometown club from 1996 to 2004 before a mouthwatering move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

His career took a sharp dive after injuries hampered his progress at Real Madrid and had to return to England to play for Newcastle United, Manchester United and Stoke City. He won the league with Manchester United.
