Africa Cup of Nations winner, Sadio Mane has a beautiful message to Africa for making the Nations Cup in Cameroon a success.
The Senegal hero heled his country to their first ever Africa Cup of Nations triumph after a penalty shootout victory over Egypt last week.
Despite reacting after the victory, the Liverpool star took to Twitter to celebrate the moment while consoling victims of the Olembe Stadium crash.
"Little by little, I realize what has happened in the last few days and still sometimes, I think I'm dreaming. So proud of all of us. I can't even find the words to describe what this means to me," he wrote.
"We wrote history! Senegal. Thank you for all your messages and support. I also want to say thank you to the people of Cameroon. It was an incredible CAN with a great atmosphere. You have been the perfect host for this competition.
"I cannot forget to express once again my condolences to the families of all the victims, who lost their lives in the tragic accident which occurred in one of the stadiums. We will never forget them."
Sadio Mane had an outstanding Africa Cup of Nations and was adjudged Player of the Tournament after netting three goals and providing two assists. He also scored the winning penalty against Egypt.
