Kaizer Chiefs legend Itumeleng Khune rolled back the years in the most glorious of fashions.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper made two saves in a 4-3 MTN 8 quarterfinal penalty shootout victory over Stellenbosch FC at the Danie Craven Stadium.
The match ended 1-1 via goals from the home team's Sihle Nduli in the 48th minute, and the visitor's Ashley du Preez' equaliser in the 58th minute. Both the goals came from glaring errors by the opposing defenses after being caught in possession in dangerous areas.
The Amakhosi did not miss a single spot-kick of theirs, while Deano van Rooyen and William Likuta failed to get their strikes past Khune, who was in his renowned penalty-saving form.

This was the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper's first appearance for the club since the beginning of August 2021.
Chiefs will now join Amazulu and Orlando Pirates in the semifinals, while Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United battled it out for the last spot in the late kickoff.
