Kaizer Chiefs remains keen on signing Kobamelo Kodisang from SC Braga.
The South African star returned to Portugal ahead of pre-season but will continue training with Braga’s B side.
Braga exercised the option to extend his contract by two years at the club, but chose not to include him in the first team for their pre-season plans, Soccer Laduma reported.
As a result, the player will train with the B side but is eager for more game time. Braga are not interested in selling the player but will be open to allowing him to leave on loan.

Chiefs remain in the hunt to secure his service on loan but Kodisang’s camp are also eager for him to secure a loan more in Europe. As reported by Goal.com, Chiefs will find out during the week whether Kodisang will be heading back to South Africa.
His agent Mike Makaab explained that Chiefs are the only Premier Soccer League club that has shown interest in Kodisang.
"The difficulty is not with Chiefs or with us, the difficulty lies now with how Braga sees KK's future," Makaab explained.
Kodisang has spent the last three seasons playing for the B side but Braga sees huge potential in the player.

Kaizer Chiefs are in the process of a mass clearout at the Naturena. The Amakhosi announced on their social media pages that a host of players, and some technical staff, would be parting ways with the club.
Kearyn Baccus, Daniel Akpeyi, Leonardo Castro, Daniel Cardoso, Lebogang Manyama, Lazalous Kambole and Samir Nurković will all leave the club at the end of June.
