FootballKaizer Motaung Jr Backs Arthur Zwane, Saying That No Other Coach Knows Kaizer Chiefs Better Than He Does
- Arthur Zwane has received the seal of approval from a high place within Kaizer Chiefs' hierarchy
- Amakhosi sporting director has come out swinging for Zwane, saying that he believes he is the right man to lead the club
- It remains to be seen how this will impact the club's final decision as to whom will be appointed permanent coach for next season
Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Arthur Zwane seems to have backing for a permanent head coaching gig at the Amakhosi.
Chiefs' sporting director made it clear that he believes Zwane is the right man to lead the club. It is not known how much of a bearing this will have when the powers-that-be within management decide who will be appointed as the head coach next season.
It's been a rocky start to Zwane's second stint as the team's caretaker. The Amakhosi lost their first four matches after sacking Stuart Baxter, before winning one match and drawing last night with Mamelodi Sundowns
According to the Citizen, Motaung said:
“I think, you know, there is no secret that if there is a coach who understands the Kaizer Chiefs philosophy, it’s Arthur Zwane. If there’s a coach who understands modern football and has a blueprint on how to bring the best out of quick, dynamic, youthful, attack-minded footballers it’s Arthur Zwane.
“It’s no secret that Arthur Zwane has served this club with aplomb as a player, understanding the pressures this club needs and comes with. There’s no secret that the coach has the practical elements to develop a pattern of play."
Adel Amrouche expresses interest in Kaizer Chiefs job, Arthur Zwane also keen on being made permanent manager

As reported by Sports Brief, following Stuart Baxter’s sacking last month, numerous coaches have put their hands up and expressed interest in coaching the Amakhosi.
Former Botswana nation coach Adel Amrouche is the latest manager linked to taking over at Naturena.
