Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Arthur Zwane has warned his players about the dangers of ill-discipline.
Zwane made the warning after two cases of ill discipline rocked the Amakhosi team in recent weeks.
Njabulo Ngcobo first made headlines when he refused to shake Arthur Zwane’s hand after being subbed during a recent game. To make matters worse, Lee Baxter attempted to stop the player from walking away by pulling him back, leading to a tense situation.
Ngcobo has not played since for Chiefs. Dumisani Zuma then made headlines after he was suspended by the Amakhosi for breaching the club’s code of conduct.

FootballZwane has since offered some advice to his players in the wake of the two cases, Sowetan LIVE reported.
“Discipline is everything. Discipline doesn’t always start on the field, it starts off the field. If you want to make it big in life, you have to be disciplined,” he said.
Zwane warned his players that being a professional football was a very short career and so they had to remain focused to make the most of it.
“If you want to prolong your career, you have to be disciplined off the field. When things are rosy for you, you must still keep your feet on the ground, be level-headed and show respect. All those things play a huge role for one to be successful.”
Zwane’s comments come as Kaizer Chiefs prepare to take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the DStv Premiership. Zwane is trying to instil discipline ahead of the big game and is attempting to have three training sessions during the week before the game, SABC Sport reported.

The end of the season could not come fast enough for Kaizer Chiefs. On the back of four straight defeats, things are not looking promising for the Amakhosi, even after firing Stuart Baxter, Sports Brief reported.
Interim co-coach, Arthur Zwane, admitted a need for change and rebuilding at the club. Kaizer Chiefs have not won a trophy in seven seasons, a stat indicative of just how the Soweto giants have fallen.
Speaking after the recent loss to Cape Town City, Arthur Zwane admitted that some players were not good enough to represent a big brand like Kaizer Chiefs, Times LIVE reported.
