- Inter Milan lost the game to lose further ground in the top-four race as the season enters homestretch
Romelu Lukaku produced yet another embarrassing miss after he failed to find the back of the net from close range during a Serie A match.
The Iner Milan striker was thrown in from the start as Fiorentina came visiting at the San Siro on Saturday, April 1st. He lasted the entire 90 minutes as Simone Inzaghi's men fell to a 1-0 defeat.
Perhaps the scoreline would have been different had the Chelsea loanee scored after Alessandro Bastoni squared the ball to him. The Belgian star had an empty net in front of him but somehow misjudged the ball and ended up missing the chance altogether.
Minutes later, Giacomo Bonaventura scored the only goal of the game. It was an off night for Lukaku and the Inter Milan squad, but this miss particularly stood out.
