Legendary Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari has revealed how Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho got him to sign for Inter Milan in 2008.
Muntari, who was fresh off winning the English FA Cup with Portsmouth in 2008, did not hesitate to join Inter after he had a call from Mourinho.
According to Muntari, he had a brief chat with Jose Mourinho and was convinced Inter was the right club for him at that time.
"I had returned from training and I was home and he called my phone and said it's me Mourinho," Muntari recounts as quoted by Ghanaweb.

"He said how are you? And I replied I am good. He then asked, do you want to play for me? I said yes, and he said okay, I will see you in Milano.
"We (Muntari and his agent) parked our bags and I flew to Milan and then I signed and that was it."
Muntari joined Inter Milan in the summer of 2008 for 14 million Euros.
The Ghana international and the Portuguese trained made history with the Nerazurris after winning a historic treble in 2010.
The former Udinese midfielder was a second-half substitute as Inter defeated Bayern Munich to win the 2010 UEFA Champions League.
Mourinho left at the end of that season while Muntari stayed for two more years before joining rivals AC Milan.
