Legendary Cameroon striker, Samuel Eto'o was amazed after compatriot and a member of the female national team delivered a speech during his induction into the Inter Milan Hall of Fame.
The now President of the Cameroonian Football Federation was part of the 2022 class of Inter players inducted into the Hall of Fame.
In a video posted on Twitter, Ajara Nchout Njoya, who plays for the female side of Inter shared her most memorable moment of the former Cameroon forward.
"I remember his move from Barcelona to Inter in 2009, and in the semi-final of the UEFA champions league, he faced his old team and put them out of the competition, I think it was unbelievable because he left Barcelona under difficult conditions," she said.
"He met Barcelona, sent them home and won the UEFA Champions League," she added.
Eto'o by winning the treble in 2010, became the first player to win back-to-back treble with two different clubs.
"It was a pleasure to meet Indomitable Lioness and Inter star Ajara Njoya in the Hall Of Fame last month and speak about her impressive track record. Thanks for having me Inter," he wrote on Twitter.
The former Barcelona player now heads the Cameroonian Football Federation.
