Samuel Eto'o has chalked another milestone in his storied football career after he was named to the Inter Milan Hall of Fame.

The former Cameroon player becomes the first African to make the illustrious list and the fourth forward to be inducted.

He is one of the four inductees of the 2021 group after his successful spell with Inter Milan, where he won the treble in the 2010 season under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho.

Samuel Eto'o left Barcelona to join the Italian giants in 2009, and just a season into his campaign became an integral part of the Blue and Blacks.

The two-times AFCON winner went on to win the Scudetto, the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Champions League.

Inter Milan's Hall of Fame inductees since 2018

Several players have been inducted in the Inter Milan Hall of Fame since it was initiated in 2018.

Eto'o joins a list that includes former teammate Marco Materazzi and Wesley Sneijder for the 2021 group.

2018 edition:

Walter Zenga; Javier Zanetti; Lothar Matthäus; Ronaldo.

2019 edition:

Francesco Toldo; Giacinto Facchetti; Dejan Stankovic; Giuseppe Meazza.

2020 edition:

Julio Cesar; Giuseppe Bergomi; Esteban Cambiasso; Diego Milito.

2021 edition:

Gianluca Pagliuca, Marco Materazzi, Wesley Sneijder, Samuel Eto'o.

Samuel Eto'o congratulates Rigobert Song as new Cameroon coach

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that President of the Cameroonian Football Federation, Samuel Eto'o has sent a congratulatory message to former teammate and new coach of the Indomitable Lions Rigobert Song.

Song was named coach of the five times African champions on Monday following the sacking of António Conceição after a disappointing AFCON in Cameroon.

In a message posted on Twitter, Eto'o is delighted to be working alongside his former captain and believes he can steer the country to the right direction.
