“That’s my only target and I’ve been close a number of times (the 2010 AFCON and 2015 AFCON final).
“I won the Under-20 AFCON and won the Under-20 World Cup trophies, but my only target is to win a trophy in the Black Stars jersey, any trophy that I can win — AFCON or the World Cup trophy. That’s my goal, that’s my aim and that’s what I pray and work hard for every day.”
Ghana last won a major silverware in 1982 when the Black Stars won the Africa Cup of Nations with Andre father Abedi Pele a member of the team.
The Black Stars have been close to winning the competition three times, losing on penalties in 1992 and 2015. They also lost to Egypt 1-0 in the final in 2010.

FootballBrazil forward Richarlison believes Ghana has a good team for the World Cup
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Brazil's two-goal hero Richarlison believes Ghana has a good team to make a mark at the World Cup in Qatar in November.
The Tottenham forward netted a first half brace as the five times World Cup winners brushed aside the African side in a rampant display.
Despite the dominant first half display, the Selacaos failed to score in the second half and Richarlison credits that to Ghana's strength as a team.
