Father of Ghana's football icon Asamoah Gyan, Baffour Gyan Mensah, has revealed how proud he is of his legendary son.
Asamoah Gyan is revered globally for his exploits in football, which includes holding the record of scoring the most goals as an African player at the World Cup.
In a video posted on social media, spotted by Sports Brief, Gyan's father expressed his admiration for his son, praising his achievements.
"Anytime people find out I am Asamoah Gyan father then the crowd start to follow me as if Asamoah Gyan is present," he said.

"So I feel proud whenever I see him," he added.
Asamoah Gyan is Ghana's all-time leading scorer with 51 goals from 109 international matches.
However, he has been inactive for over a year since leaving Ghana Premier League outfit Legon Cities. He is yet to announce his retirement.
The 36-year-old has already started planning life after football as he studies for his coaching badges.
