Ghana international Alexander Djiku has been nominated for Goal of the Month award in France.
The Strasbourg defender gave his fans something to cheer for after scoring a bicycle-kick considered one of the best goals of his career.
Djiku was already waiting in the 18-yard box when France attacker, Kevin Gameiro, flicked the ball with his head which came in the direction of the Black Stars defender whose improvised overhead kick found the back of the net.
The goal ensured that his side recorded a 1-0 win over Monaco to move them to third on the French Ligue 1 log.
