Fourteen years ago, Sulley Muntari made history by scoring the winner that would eliminate a Manchester United team that had Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez from the English FA Cup.

The Ghana international starred as Portsmouth frustrated Manchester United, before he grabbed the winner in dramatic fashion after converting from the spot with defender Rio Ferdinand in post.

The English FA and Pompey fans took to Twitter to share the video of Muntari's goal as they remembered what will lead to the FA Cup success in 2008.

Sulley Muntari carved a cult hero status on that fateful day after electing himself to take the penalty which will see them progress to the semi-final.

Manchester United substitute goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has been sent off for a foul on Milan Baroš, leaving the Red Devils with no choice but to have a player between the sticks.

Rio Ferdinand nominated himself to finish the game as goalkeeper, but Muntari's penalty was so strong he could not make a save.
