Former Black Stars defender Samuel Inkoom is eyeing a return to the Ghana Premier League before he retires from active football.
The 32-year-old is currently a free agent after his contract ended with Georgia club, FC Torpedo Kutaisi in December last year.
Inkoom played for Asante Kotoko and won the Ghana Premier League with the Porcupine Warriors before he departed for Europe in 2009.
The right full-back first joined Swiss champions, FC Basel, before featuring for clubs like Dnipro, Boavista, DC United and Antalyspor.

“It is possible I will play in the Ghana Premier League because I just finished my contract with my club in Georgia.
I am now back home. A lot of local clubs have sent in offers but in the end, I will have to decide with my agent, but I believe a comeback to Ghana is very possible because that is where I started,” Inkoom told Connect FM.
It will come as a huge surprise to see Emmanuel Agyemang Badu in the Phobian jersey after he declared his desire to return to Kotoko before retirement.
However, if the deal materialise, Badu will follow the footsteps of former Black Stars teammates Asamoah Gyan, Fatau Dauda and Sulley Muntari who recently returned to the Ghana Premier League.
