Former Ghana U-20 star Adu Tutu Skelley is unimpressed with the performance of Ghana goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott.

The Swindon Town safest pair of hands was handed his first call up into Ghana's senior national team following an injury to Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori.

Wollacott had a difficult Africa Cup of Nations, conceding five goals in three matches, more than he conceded in his first four games for the Black Stars.

And Tutu Skelley who is not clearly satisfied with Wollacott performance has questioned the competence of him as Ghana's number one goalkeeper

"Look at our current goalkeeper, he is not good enough, he cannot be compared to Sammy Adjei", he said.

Richard Kingston spotted the goalkeeper and made him number first choice goalie for the Black Stars in the absence of Ofori.

Ghana failed to progress to the next stage of the Africa Cup of Nations after two defeats and a draw in Group C of the tournament.

Former Ghana Player Slams Goalkeeper's Trainer

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Charles Taylor has blamed Ghana's goalkeeper's trainer, Richard Kingston, for the Black Stars' poor showing at the Africa Cup of Nations.

According to Taylor, Jojo Wollacot as Black Stars number one goalkeeper was a wrong choice, and Kingston needs to take responsibility for the Swindon shot-stopper's poor display.

Charles Taylor, who works as a pundit on Angel TV, was very critical of the goalkeeping department of the Black Stars.
