The Ghana Football Association has taken the initiative to convince English-born striker Antoine Semenyo to represent Ghana at the international level.
The London-born forward, who plays for Bristol City has been in good form in the English championship, raising the eyebrows of the federation.
According to reports, the 22-year-old has agreed to play for the Black Stars of Ghana pending approval from the Federation of International Football (FIFA).
Antoine Semenyo has scored five goals and produced six assists in 17 matches for the championship side.
Although, he was born in England to Ghanaian parents, the lanky attacker is eligible to play for the four times African champions.
