It has been close to six months since Thomas Tuchel was sacked by Chelsea. It was a decision not many fans and pundits agreed with, as the new owners decided to bring in now-embattled Graham Potter as his replacement.

At the time of his sacking, the Blues weren't performing well but co-owner, Todd Boehly revealed the German wasn't sacked entirely because of on-pitch results and rather because the club was being steered in a new direction - one which Tuchel was not seen as the right person to do.

However, according to the latest reports, Tuchel's ex-wife has claimed the German boss was sent packing because he had lost the respect of the players.

Sissi, who was married to the former manager for 13 years, allegedly received a call from England in early September documenting the reasons behind the high-profile decision.

The Sun reports that Tuchel was seeking an injunction from a Munich district court last week to prevent his ex-wife from publishing an email she sent him, detailing the reasons why he was dismissed. The German wasn't present in person, but his former love was.

Apart from losing the players' respect, other 'mysterious' off-pitch reasons have been hinted at. The couple had two daughters together before their split, which appears to have not been acrimonious.
