"I never knew what training meant to these guys until I joined Chelsea. The way they play in games, the way they train; there are tackles flying in, there are fights in training, like proper boxing in training, because everybody wants to be in the starting eleven," he told Dubaiye Radio.
Obi Mikel said there was no such thing as saying one didn't feel like training, with Hazard the only player to get away with that attitude.
"He never trains, the most laziest footballer I have ever seen in my life. Then he will produce on the weekend and he is Man of the Match. He will come with his trophy and be like 'you see?'," he added.
Mikel and Hazard were part of a very successful Chelsea team that won several titles including the Europa League, the Premier League and the FA Cup.
Hazard left Chelsea to join Real Madrid in 2019 and has since made 51 appearances, scoring only four goals.
