- Borussia Dortmund compounded Graham Potter's woes at Chelsea with a narrow first-leg win
- The Blues failed to break a resilient Yellow Wall despite being better for huge parts of the game
- Chelsea's travelling fans unveiled a Thomas Tuchel banner as their team's misery continues
Graham Potter suffered another setback after Chelsea were beaten in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie against Borussia Dortmund.
A blistering Karim Adeyemi counter-attack in the second half was enough to hand the German side a slim advantage heading into the second leg in two weeks.
Chelsea did everything right except score and it is undoubtedly another frustrating moment for an under-pressure Potter.
The Blues' expensive forays in the transfer market are yet to pay off, with the side now winless in their last four games.

Fans display Thomas Tuchel banner
To make matters worse for Potter, a section of the club's fans is yet to move on from Thomas Tuchel's dismissal. The German was sacked in early September after a Champions League loss to Dinamo Zagreb.
It was a shocking decision as Tuchel had led Chelsea to three titles in the 15 months he had been in charge.
Ahead of the game at Signal Iduna Park on February 16, Blues fans unveiled a huge banner of the former manager.
It should also be noted that Tuchel served as Dortmund's boss between 2015 and 2017, winning the DFB Pokal in 2017 just one season after being declared the best Bundesliga coach.
Thiago Silva's verdict on Potter
Sports Brief also reported on veteran defender, Thiago Silva refusing to comment on how well or poorly Potter has adapted to his role at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are in unfamiliar territory, with the London side in 10th place in the EPL and at great risk of missing out on European football next season.
Despite a decent start, Potter has struggled to churn out consistent results of late. However, the club is expected to give him time to implement his strategies despite the recent match outcomes.
